The remote village project

The Brigades Remote Village Project (RVP) is a year-round effort to provide healthcare access in rural villages. These communities are hours away from the nearest hospitals. Our clean water, smokeless stoves, and sanitation projects make communities less vulnerable to disease. Our healthcare training projects provide healthcare access to result in sustainable and lasting change. The RVP team meets monthly and regularly sends team members to train and continue our work in Honduras.

Our Community Healthcare Workers (CHWs) continue to show a strong commitment with their clinics and communities. Over the last three months they have seen a steady number of patient visits and have contributed to local health initiatives like anti-parasitic campaigns.
