CLEAN WATER

Too many Hondurans lack access to safe drinking water in rural Honduras. This is entirely preventable.

  • 2.7 million Hondurans lack access to clean drinking water, with rural areas disproportionately in need.

  • According to data from the World Health Organization, waterborne illnesses are the leading cause of child mortality in Honduras.

  • Improving access to clean drinking water in Honduras is essential for improving the health and well-being of children in the country.

Our Work in Honduras

At VHC Medical Brigade, we understand the importance of clean water in maintaining good health and quality of life. In rural areas of Honduras, access to clean water can be a major challenge. That's why we are dedicated to providing reliable clean water services to the communities we serve. Our clean water initiatives aim to provide sustainable solutions for communities in need. We work with local partners to install water filtration systems, construct wells, and provide water purification tablets to ensure that the water being consumed is safe and clean.
