The Rural Development Program

How we empower the most vulnerable

Clean Water

 Solutions that Last

Our Clean Water, Rural Schools, and Rural Clinics projects at the Brigade are essential for creating a healthier and more sustainable future for rural communities in Honduras. Clean water is critical for preventing illness and promoting good health, while our rural schools provide hygiene education, nutrition, and deworming medication helps create a better future for children. Our rural clinics ensure that the most vulnerable members of these communities have access to essential healthcare services. Together, these projects create a comprehensive and sustainable approach to community development designed to create long-term, transformative change.

“All of the Brigade’s programs are linked together to improve the quality of life for the people in the mountains, education and nutrition in schools, our rural clinics, and clean water. Without water, there is no health; without food, there is no health; without education, there is no health. These projects are connected to work together to create healthier communities, which is fundamental to our work.”
