JJ Sverha, MD has been an active member of the VHC Brigade (VHCMB) since 2002 and currently serves as the member of the Board. A graduate of Yale Medical School, Dr. Sverha is board certified in emergency medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He has been practicing emergency medicine at VHC Health since 1999 and is currently the Vice Chair of the Emergency Department and Vice President of the Medical Staff. He has a strong interest in improving healthcare quality and has led quality improvement efforts for 20+ emergency departments in the mid-Atlantic region.
